Terms of Service

Magrebyu is an independent online review platform for Philippine university entrance exams (UPCAT, ACET, DCAT, USTET, MPASS and AdUCET), the Civil Service Examination (Professional and Sub-Professional), and cadetship entrance examinations (PMA, PNPA, PMMA, MAAP and NTMA). We sell access to practice questions, step-by-step solutions, mock exams, and study reference material.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by, or connected to any of the schools, academies, or government agencies whose examinations we prepare students for. This includes University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of Santo Tomas, Mapúa University, Adamson University, Philippine Military Academy, Philippine National Police Academy, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, NYK-TDG Maritime Academy, the Civil Service Commission, together with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, the Maritime Industry Authority, and the shipping companies and groups that sponsor or operate any of these academies. All exam names are used only to describe which test our material prepares you for. Our seals and emblems are our own original designs and are not the institutions' logos.

Beyond practice questions, we publish study guidance — exam formats, qualification requirements, selection stages, fitness targets, and similar reference material. This is compiled from publicly available sources and is provided for information only. It is not official, and we are not authorised to state any institution's requirements on its behalf.

Entrance requirements, exam structures, cut-off scores, physical standards and selection procedures change between application cycles. Where we publish such figures we show the date they were compiled. You must confirm every requirement against the official bulletin or admissions office of the institution for your own application year before relying on it. We are not liable for a decision made on the basis of our guidance material alone.

Our fitness planner and colour-vision awareness check are training and awareness aids only. They are not medical tests, produce no diagnosis, and are no substitute for examination by a licensed medical professional or by an institution's medical board. Our neuro-psychological content explains what to expect at that stage; it does not assess, score, or predict any candidate's psychological suitability, and we are not psychologists.

Our questions are original material written to reflect publicly known exam coverage. Actual exams change format, difficulty, and content without notice. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, obtain any score, or be admitted to any school or government position. Your results depend on your own preparation.

Payment is one-time per reviewer or bundle — there is no subscription and no recurring charge. When your payment is confirmed, access unlocks immediately and we email you a personal access link.

Access lasts twelve (12) months from the date of purchase (for license keys, from the start date set when your key is issued — normally the day your payment is confirmed). That covers a full exam cycle. When the period ends, access simply stops — nothing renews, nothing is charged, and our contract with you is complete. If you want to keep reviewing after that, you may purchase again at the then-current price.

Your access link is personal. It works on up to two (2) devices, for example your phone and your computer. Purchases and license keys dated before this two-device rule began keep the three (3) devices they were sold with. Each browser counts as one device, so opening your link in a second browser, or after clearing your browser data, uses up a device; message us and we will reset your devices. Anyone holding the link can use your access, so treat it like a ticket and do not post it publicly.

Fair use. So the question bank cannot be copied by a script, each purchase or key can start up to forty (40) quizzes an hour and two hundred (200) a day, far more than a full day of studying needs.

You agree not to:

• share, sell, resell, or publish your access link or account access;
• copy, screenshot, record, scrape, or redistribute our questions, solutions, or reference material;
• use our content to build or supply a competing reviewer, review center, or study material;
• attempt to bypass payment, device limits, or any technical protection on the site.

Our content is displayed with a visible watermark identifying the buyer, including a short reference code linked to your purchase or key. If we find evidence of sharing or redistribution, we may suspend the affected access without refund.

Many of our users are senior high school students. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before purchasing, and the payment must be made by or with the consent of that adult. By purchasing, the paying adult accepts these terms on the student's behalf.

We aim to keep Magrebyu online continuously, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting issues, or events outside our control may cause temporary downtime. We will restore access as quickly as we can.

To the extent allowed by Philippine law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to Magrebyu is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the affected reviewer. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed exams, lost admission, or lost income. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394).

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of the city where our business is registered.
